There are times when all we see is a blurry and hopeless picture of our future. The things that we’ve planned for so long and worked for so hard, seem to be going nowhere. The support we need, the love that would help us at this critical time, seems to be waning.
And that is when our true potential and commitment to our goal is tested. God (or any other power we believe in), will put us down through many tests. Sometimes all we’ll get is despair. But that is the main reason God put us in that situation, afterall. We often forget that the gold that shines and is a dream to many, has gone through a rigorous test of fire. Fire made it pure and hence, intensified its worth.
Nelson Mandela was put into jail for 27 years. But he won. And that’s what matters the most.
