Infinity Dreams Award Round Two!

Thank God I finally have the time to sit back, relax and just BLOG! I’ve been missing all this. Past week has been hectic as eff!

I’ve been nominated for so many awards in the past, but because of my busy schedule, I didn’t really get a chance to actually do any award post. PHEW!

So, my dear friend Anand has nominated me for yet another award. It is so very kind of him to consider me worthy for such awards. Anand has been like a lighthouse in my life. That’s the least I can say about him. Sometimes when I am all messed up, I read his posts and try to find some solutions in them. He is a storehouse of optimism. And as I told him earlier, he is far far away from the vanity of life and so humble and down-to-earth. I even talk to my mum about him. He is that fictional character which you wish wasn’t fictional! And he ain’t! If that makes any sense? Do check out his blog. It will bowl you over!

  1. Shopaholic.
  2. Organised.
  3. Optimistic.
  4. Emotional.
  5. Learner for life.
  6. News junkie.
  7. Friendly.
  8. Funny (at least I think so!).
  9. Obsessed about cleanliness.
  10. Perfectionist.
  11. Extremely critical of others.

My Answers To Anand’s Questions

  1. Who is your mentor or who inspires you the most?

Nelson Mandela for his belief in love and humanity. Dr. Manmohan Singh for his humbleness and intelligence. Barack Hussein Obama for his fortitude and strong persona.

2. Who is your best friend?

Sahil Narula, who understands me like no other person can, EVER! And my family.

3. What is the role of gratitude in life, if any?

Gratitude is the greatest prayer. Period!

4. If you could meet one person from any period in history (it may even be fictional), who would it be?

My three mentors, for sure. And there is one other person that I want to meet. Can’t name that person. But I would really like to meet him, once.

5. What is the sweetest thing someone ever did for you?

Waking up at 4 a.m. just to talk to me? It was something I can never forget. And that too waking up at 4 a.m. every morning! Like, someone putting in as much as effort as I did to work out an otherwise complicated relation. 🙂 I like simple things in life. And it was huge for me.

6. Which were the best years of your life- childhood, youth or whichever age you’re now?

As I look back in life, I think every single day has been a blessing and hence I can’t choose one.

7. Do you suffer from any kind of phobia?

Any? LOL. There are MANY 😀 Creepy creatures like cockroaches, lizards, ants, mosquitoes etc., height, darkness, speed and loneliness to name a few!

8. What do you need to be happy?

I can entertain myself very efficiently. I am never bored. When sad, I spend time with my family. Happiness is a state of mind. There are no particular demands, but music would be one!! Currently I am listening to ‘Hotline Bling‘ by Drake and it is growing on me!!!! The song is dope!!! Drake is the love of my life!!! I need DRAKE 😦

9. What is love?

Honesty, respect, commitment, understanding.

10. What is peace?

Tough one. I haven’t found peace yet. So I can’t answer this one.

11. Who are you?

A purpose.

My Nominees!

I got so many beautiful friends here that I wanted to nominate all of them. But, sadly, I could only choose 11. So I chose some of my new blogger friends and some old ones 🙂

  1. these are difficult questions Hasmeet 😦 and in the mental state I find myself in now…its looks that much difficult. Let me find myself in a more relaxed zone, I’ll answer it then, what you’ll get are answers straight from my heart..no political answers 😉

  2. Congratulations 🙂

And I am on cloud 14th after reading those words. Was that about me? Ah! I must reblog this post so that I can read it sometimes and look at those words of appreciation! Friends will think this is so selfish but I must do it lol 😀

I enjoyed reading your answers and I feel you haven’t yet started doing ping-backs for your nominees and nominators? Please do that? Makes life easier for all of us 🙂

    Thanks for accepting.

    LOve and light ❤

      1. Oh no only you are harsh. I am always polite on myself that is why I never aspire to change. You are really very sweet to say all that as I know I am very ordinary to deserve them 🙂

        Love and light ❤

  3. Reblogged this on blabberwockying! and commented:

    What? Lighthouse?

I am on cloud 14th! Appreciation and tons of it coming from someone as sweet as Hasmeet?

I really don’t deserve any of it, and that is why at the cost of sounding selfish I have reblogged this post–so that I can easily find it out when in despair–to read those words and feel that a friend once said them! This is like I nominated her for an award and she nominated me for even greater one. I am humbled, honored and looking for a place to hide lol 😀

Salutes, bows and whatnot to sweet Hasmeet!

    Love and light ❤

    Anand 🙂
